High Growth Tech President, Board Director and Investor, Growth and Industry Consultant

Stacey Browning led Paycor, the $300 million+ SaaS payroll/HCM company, to 24 consecutive quarters of growth, navigating the business through sales, product and geographic expansion, including client base and product acquisitions and integrations. Today her talent for operationalizing and scaling strategies is helping companies increase performance. She is a private company board director, trusted business advisor and investor.

As President of Paycor, Stacey was known for her focus on the customer and advocated for over 40,000 small to medium sized businesses nationally. For 2,000 employees, she served as a critical motivator and change agent having had senior sales, marketing, product management, IT, HR and customerservice leadership roles. Significantly, she was Paycor’s firstChief Product Officer and has led enterprise-level software transformations. A focus on finding and developing key talent is a specialty, hiring key roles such as CMO, CTO, CISO, ChiefProduct Officer, CHRO and Chief Service Officer.

At present, Stacey is a Board Director of 15Five and AllianceHCM, both privately held SMB-focused HR tech firms, and Al. Neyer, Inc, a significant regional commercial real estate developer. During 2020-22, she focused on venture work with CincyTech USA, serving on the boards of 4 seed-stage technology investments. In all these roles, Stacey has helped capitalize and advise in domains such as e-commerce, construction, security, HR, and education. Her experience helps businesses formulate and refine go-to-market strategies, including channel partnerships, digital marketing and predictable sales processes and coverage models.

Stacey earned a BA in Business/Marketing from MiamiUniversity in Oxford, Ohio. She is active in the community as co-founder of Cincinnati’s Flying Pig Marathon, trustee forCincinnati Children’s Hospital, Committee of 200 (C200.org)member, and is recognized as a YWCA Career Woman ofAchievement. She speaks regularly on the topics of scaling businesses, personal branding, and furthering the careers of women in technical leadership. Growth Consultant

For an hourly or packaged fee, the process starts with stage setting to understand an organization’s current approach to growth, targets and recent results. Then, working with the management team, potential growth areas are identified and prioritized, with consideration of products, packaging, markets, and geographies. Gaps, ownership and resource needs are documented. There is the option for ongoing go-to-market operationalization for change management and accountability.

Disabilities Workforce Advocate

Rounding out Stacey’s offerings, increasingly she’s taking part in raising awareness on equity for people with disabilities and the direct service professionals who care for them. Propelled by her own life experience of having a severely disabled son (eighth in the world identified with his particular genetic mutation), she’s testified before government legislatures on the healthcare worker crisis, fair pay, and inclusion.
